Bogale wins 1500m World Juniot Title |

The Ethiopian Tizita Bogale, who placed second at the 78th Cinque Mulini after the Olimpic Champion Nancy Langat (KEN), won the 1500m race at the World Junior Championships in Moncton, Canada, last Sunday. Bogale after dominating her semifinal, proved the stronger in the finishing straight to produce a PB 4:08:06.
Bogale's victory is the first for the country since Abedech Nigussie's success a decade ago: "This is my first time competing at the Championships and I'm delighted to have won it" - said Bogale - "The race was very competitive. There was a fierce struggle for the win and I am happy to withstood all that."

The U.S. San Vittore Olona 1906 has elected its new President, Franco Malerba, son of Giovanni, who created one of the eldest Cross Country in the world in 1933. Franco has always been part of the Cinque Mulini OC cooperating to the success of this race, that will celebrate its 79th edition on 5th and 6th February 2011, in a two day meeting rich in exciting events. |

Il nome di Manuela Di Centa compare anche nell'elenco dei partecipanti alla Cinque Mulini femminile, negli anni 1984 e 1985.
Frugando fra gli archivi della campestre, sono stati trovati foto e risultati di quelle edizioni, in cui la giovane atleta ha corso sui campi sanvittoresi per mettere alla prova la sua preparazione in vista delle gare di sci di fondo.
